If you are planning to avail the visa on arrival option while traveling to Jordan, be prepared to get grilled by the immigration officers at your point of exit in India. This is common practice and hence it is best to carry all the right documentation with you along with a printout that states that Indian Passport holders are eligible for visa on arrival while traveling to Jordan. While I was being grilled by the immigration officers at Bangalore, I playfully asked why all the grilling when Jordan offers a visa on arrival to Indians and I received the answer that this is protocol especially for countries that offer visa on arrival facility to Indians.
