Travel Photo of the Day: Red Hills, India
A lovely part of India’s Western Ghats that is surrounded by lakes, tea estates and wildlife sanctuaries, the Red Hills is located in the Ooty district of Tamil Nadu. Located just 20 kms from Ooty, one of Tamil Nadu’s favorite hill stations, Red Hills is one of my preferred camping getaways from Bangalore. Emerald Lake, Upper Bhavani Reservoir, Avalanche Lake, the many tea gardens and Moyar Wildlife sanctuary make for a stunning setting.
