The festival of lights is here. So is the festival of noise and air pollution. This is one festival that leaves behind a whole bunch of casualties. Be it eye trouble, burns, breathing trouble, asthma and ringing in the ears, the hospitals see all kinds of cases all over the country. Even the dogs suffer from palpitations, irregular heart beat and shivering due to increased noise levels.
Now, you might be wondering why I am talking about negative things on a festival day. It is just to spread the message of a safe Diwali. Please take care of yourself, be safe when bursting fireworks, be considerate of others surrounding you and ensure you follow the safety regulations set by hmmm ‘No one’. Just keep in mind the ill effects and enjoy your Diwali.
May this Diwali (Deepavali) bring lots of light and joy for you and your family. Here’s wishing a happy and safe Diwali to everyone from ‘BE ON THE ROAD’.
