Sunset Moment: South West Coast of Sri Lanka
It was early evening and I was driving from Thangalle to Galle on the South Western coastal highway of Sri Lanka. Somewhere during this drive, we took a pit stop to stretch our legs and enjoy the gentle coastal breeze. The sun was casting its soft golden glow on the sea making it a very pleasant sight.
It was during this time that I spotted this fisherman preparing himself for his evening fishing expedition. Since the lighting was still strong, I decided to capture the silhouette of the fisherman against the golden seas by underexposing my photo. Personally, I like this composition a lot as it visually depicts an important coastal activity and also brings out the picturesque waterscape. What do you think?
