The unspoilt hill station of Kolli Hills in Tamil Nadu is known for its delicious jackfruit, pineapples and guavas. Though, these fruits are available in their respective seasons. The last time I was here I got to sample their extremely juicy pineapples.
This time, which was just a week back, I got to savour the yummy pink and white guavas that were being sold for one rupee a piece. These guavas were so good that I myself would have had at least 10 numbers. And since this was the guava season, there were make shift guava shops all around Kolli Hills. And in this case outside the Arapaleeswarar Temple.
