In the world of photography, focus plays a huge role. But, it is not necessary that an out of focus photo has to look ugly. You can have the same subject and move the focus to different parts of the frame. And as long as the focus remains sharp, the photo comes out well. But the catch is that you keep shifting the photo to form different images with the same frame.
Let’s take this example. I was captivated by a purple flower, its rich lilac bud and a solitary leaf on a thin green climber in front of it.
I took multiple shots trying to keep the same 3 objects in my frame. But, I kept shifting my focus between these three objects.
So when I kept my focus on the solitary leaf, the flower and the bud were out of focus and similarly with the flower and the bud. And all these 3 photos brought out different looking images and bring out sharpness in only one of the subjects. What do you think?
