If you happen to be in Pondicherry, don’t miss the chance to taste the French cuisine at the various authentic joints round the city.
One of the such local hot spots for French food is Le Club. Le Club is a garden restaurant with a retro design. It is situated on the Rue Dumas Street that runs parallel to the Pondicherry beach road.
The menu here is fairly exhaustive, but for vegetarian eaters like me, the options are limited, but sufficient.
I ordered a Ratatouille while my friend ordered a Chef special that came with Seer Fish, French fries and greens.
It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, but the aroma and the taste melted away all negative thoughts from our heads. The food was cheesy which we liked. It was bland for us Indians, which is true French style. Overall, it was a great yummy French experience at Le Club.
Travel blog of an Indian traveler living his dream of experiencing the world and inspiring others to live their travel dream. Focus areas are travel and visa tips, destination guides, experiential travel stories and traveling as a vegetarian.
