You would have noticed by now that I have a fascination for Moss and my tropical travails helps me indulge in this fascination regularly.
In this instance, I was trekking through the tropical rainforests of Coorg when I kept noticing tropical tree branches that had been usurped by Moss.
And since all these trees were getting drenched in the steady monsoon rain, the Moss on them seemed to be in its most vibrant form, which is fresh light shiny green. And it is such a treat to watch them up close.

we saw such trees covered with moss when we were in Binsar... the whole forest seemed to be like this... but i still wonder.. is it good or bad???
ReplyDeleteI doubt if it is bad. I mean it doesn't kill the parent tree or anything. But yes, if they get too big for the tree branch, then the tree branch can fall off.
ReplyDeleteBut, I guess nature has its own way of taking care of things. good or bad, it is part of nature. :-)
Where is its "Branch Manager" ?
ReplyDelete:-D...I am sure they have one among them who plays that role.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures. It must be too slippery to climb them.
ReplyDeleteThey should be definitely slippery, though have no experience in climbing on moss branches.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! :) Btw, did you like touch it?
