This educational institution, established in 1917 is the 7th oldest university of the Indian Subcontinent.
Situated in a sprawling campus, the Patna University borders the Ganges on one side. It is home to a lot of different colleges within this large educational system. The National Institute of Technology is one of the bigger ones.
It was a cloudy afternoon when I made my way into the university campus. There were hardly any people around as most of the students were on vacation while the others were giving their exams.
On one side, admissions for the oncoming year were taking place. I did not have enough time to walk through the entire campus, but I did walk through a decent bit and during the walk I got a chance to admire the excellent architecture.
The architecture, mainly Hindu-British style, had a dash of Islamic style in its long corridors and Buddhist Styles in various domes. No wonder, this university was held very high in the early part of the twentieth century.
