As most of you know, the Andamans is a tropical paradise with its pristine beaches, emerald waters, mangrove swamps and dense forests. But, if you do go there, don’t forget to sample its amazing array of sea food, which is not only cheaper than the mainland, but extremely tasty or at least that’s what my meat loving friends say.
I am a vegetarian, but my backpacking buddy, Vishwadeep Anshu, is a hardcore meat lover and is ready to taste anything. Hence, to satisfy his taste buds, we went fishing in a lot of places in the Andamans. We caught Barracudas, Red Snappers, White Snappers, Cuttle Fish and so many other types whose names I do not know. What we could not catch, we bought it from the market, especially the lobsters, the king crabs and the other crustaceans.
Travel blog of an Indian traveler living his dream of experiencing the world and inspiring others to live their travel dream. Focus areas are travel and visa tips, destination guides, experiential travel stories and traveling as a vegetarian.
