Pit Stop at Godavari River Bridge, Andhra Pradesh, India

The Godavari river bridge is one of the longest bridges in India. The rail bridge is about 7 kms long, while the road bridge amounts to nearly the same distance, but is made up of two individual bridges as the Godavari river splits into two rivers before reaching the seas.

On Godavari River Bridge, Andhra Pradesh
I got the opportunity to admire this natural wonder when I was driving from Vishakhapatnam to Vijayawada in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Even though it was the dry season, the river seemed to be have lots of water.

A View of Godavari River
From this bridge, the river looks like the ocean. There is water, water everywhere. This river must offer some sight from this bridge during the monsoons when it is in full flow.
