Taking a Stroll on Kadmat Beach!!

The Kadmat beach looks completely untouched and has thus retained its beauty.

But, if one were to appreciate the true ecosystem of the Kadmat beach and near-bouts, then one can take a leisurely walk across Kadmat Beach’s lengthy expanse.

Yet another picture perfect still...in its own way - Kadmat Island, Lakshadweep Islands, India

As I walked towards the southern side of the beach, I spotted tidal grasslands and mangroves by the beach that survive only in the most perfect environmental conditions.

At the southern most tip of the island is a rocky stretch and this is the place frequented by migratory birds, which again shows the good health of the terrain.

Even Kadmat Island has a rocky side

As I was walking by some of the remote sand stretches, I spotted lots of live sea shells that seemed to go into their shells upon sensing my presence, but only to start moving again.

It is indeed an extremely pretty sight to see nature in such harmony.

And it  even better when one can see people relishing nature’s bounty, but not damaging it even one iota.

The soft sands, the gentle waves, the emerald waters of the lagoon, they all make for great reasons to be on the beach.

I just hope that the Kadmat beach and the island overall remains clean and unspoilt for many more generations.
