It was a week day and it was well past midnight, but I couldn’t get any sleep and so couldn’t a couple of my friends. Thus, the three of us decided to drive down to Alki Beach in Seattle and put the sleepless-ness to good use.
We reached Alki beach in about thirty minutes. It was a cloudy night, which is synonymous with Seattle.
The beach was fairly desolate with just some numbered souls around. As I walked along the Alki beach with the gentle waves lapping up my feet, I could not stop admiring the brilliantly lit Seattle downtown and how the buildings stood proudly against the dark sky.
At one end of my view was the port with all its machinery and at my view’s other end was the Space Needle, the famous landmark of Seattle. In between, lay the entire Seattle downtown skyline!
All leading to a fabulous view!!
