One of the largest mosques of the world, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is Abu Dhabi’s iconic landmark. It is home to the world’s largest carpet, the world’s third largest chandelier and the world’s largest example of marble mosaic. This mosque that can accommodate 40,000 worshippers was built using skills and materials from the world over. And it is definitely one of the places to visit the next time you head to Abu Dhabi.
